This is quite thought-provoking from a kalām perspective, as although the 'ulamā affirm that the prophets were the best of creation, followed them by the rightly guided caliphs, the issue of whether an individual deed of a righteous man in the era following the final prophet ص can be superior to the deed of a prophet.
Considering Ibrahim and Hussein, this seems to be the case from an existentialist perspective, although one might argue that the prophetic ability to see into the 'alam al-mithal and hear the voice of God clearly is itself proof of their higher station with God, for the very act of direct communication with God is only possible once the veils of other-than-Him have been removed. I'll certainly have to read more on this subject — Jazakumallahu khayran for posting.
Beautiful & inspiring. This is such a well-thought-out and deeply researched piece, really inspirational. It comes at just the right time for me, as I’ve also been writing and reflecting lately on the significance and remembrance of Imam Hussain (AS), especially through the lens of Imam un-Naas, Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). Thank you Zahra for this beautiful and timely reminder. Your words gently reveal the truths that so often go unseen, though they’re right before us.
Thank you so much Abdullah, your kind words honor me and really mean a lot 🙏🏼 Subhanallah this is a blessed time of remembrance of these beautiful beloveds of God. I’m so happy my words, through Allah’s mercy and will, could be of benefit. JazakAllah!

After reading this, I say, this is one of the most profound pieces of writing I’ve come across so far. Truly profound, Zahra. Jazaki’Allah Khair for the years of heart you’ve poured into this.
Before I read this, the painting you chose pierced my heart. (ع)
